Silver Santa does exist!!!

I was down by my moms for X-mas so I decided to go half hunting on the 26th. I went to 15 differnt little towns and was able to get $2256 worth of halves! $1000 was in brink boxes and $500 was in another armor car company box and the rest were CWR or loose.

There were 9 jackpot rolls in the mix!! ALL SILVER except
Roll #1 1 clad
Roll #2 3 clad
Roll #3 5 clad
Roll #4 3 clad
Roll #5 11 clad
Roll #6 7 clad
Roll #7 4 clad
Roll #8 3 clad
Roll #9 2 clad

I was able to find 56 90% and 93 40% halves total!:565::565:

I now belive in the silver santa!:coolbeer:

Nice job!:ok: I've always loved the aspect of the treasure hunt!:10_1_20: It still astounds me that after all these years the sheeple still are clueless.:thumb.aspx: Now 56 90%ers is quite an accomplishment, were some solid rolls? How many were walkers or franklins? IMO silver hunters biggest worry will be advertisements to buy gold/silver in the local papers. This will be the main reason for tellers to hunt for silver, but it is quite apparent that they are :sleepy13: Another thing I've noticed is people who save halves finally capitulate and take them to the bank for cash to go out Christmas shopping. Another thing occuring is the older halve savers who were saving in the late sixties to seventies are now passing away and the heirs are cashing them in.:wink:
My Grandfather was a half saver except when he was saving halves it was the Barber series which were the "old" ones to him. When I was a youngster, Grandpa would give me an old half or two for birthday gifts, etc. After he passed away I always questioned to where grandpa halves went to, probably grandma brought them to the bank for cash. When we sold my grandparents house later on I searched hi and lo and never found those halves.:s15:
